I first picked up a camera as a child and realized something was different. Everything I saw through the viewfinder became brilliantly sharp. I started taking photographs of everything around me and it was as if I was seeing the world for the first time. As it turns out, I needed glasses. The concept of bringing a camera with me where I went stuck even after I got my corrective lenses.
I've lived all around the western US and spent a year near the Alps. This has set the scene for developing my passion for the outdoors. The world around me constantly inspires me to chase opportunities and capture what I see. Adventuring has become a necessity. I'm inspired by monolithic walls, towering trees, rough weather and how people push themselves in our environment.
My need for fresh experiences has gifted me with the opportunity to see many incredible places - and meet some even more amazing people - and I want to share some of what I've seen with you.
